The British Ballet Organization (BBO) is recognised worldwide as one of the most prestigious dance examining societies offering teacher training and examinations in classical ballet, tap, modern and jazz.

The BBO has schools throughout the UK, and branches in Australia and New Zealand. Its qualifications are also offered at BBO schools in Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Sweden, Malta, Jordan and Singapore.

The BBO is an Awarding Body whose qualifications are recognised by the regulatory authority for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). The BBO is an accredited society of the Council for Dance Education and Training.

For over 70 years the BBO has sustained its unique ‘family’ ethos and provided support and encouragement to dance students of all ages, experience and abilities. Its syllabus with specially composed music, develops artistic, physical and expressive qualities.
