Studio Specification
The British Ballet Organization's studio, is situated in Barnes in South West London. It is used by the BBO for monthly Scholars classes, examinations, courses and community classes. The studio is also available for hire and is regularly in demand from a wide variety of artists and companies. The studio is quiet and airy, overlooking and with access to our spacious garden, and is an ideal space for all forms of dance including classes, rehearsals, filming, photography, auditions and conferences.
The following companies have recently hired the Studio: George Piper Dances - Russell Maliphant Company, Vienna Festival Ballet, European Ballet, Hawkins & Newbury (ballroom dancers) - Ballet Ireland, Ricochet Dance Company, Arc Dance Company, Walker Dance Park Music, Carol Brown Dance Company, Historical Dance Society, Commercial Film Services, BBC filming Inspector Linley Mysteries, Albert & Friends Instant Circus, and many other independent dancers. Weekly Pilates and Yoga classes also hire the space.
Studio Specification
Studio 1
The studio has its own access and is therefore a self-contained and private area. It is mirrored on one side with a wooden floor covered with a black Harlequin dance lino and central heating. There is a piano, sound system (CD and cassette) and portable ballet barres available. The studio has a PRS licence. There are male and female changing rooms with heaters and toilets. Kitchen facilities are available by arrangement. The studio is accessed from street level and can allow disabled access.

Studio 2There is a smaller studio adjacent that has a dance lino, piano and portable sound deck with one mirrored wall. The Studio is available upon request.

Espinosa RoomThis can be used as a meeting room or as a dance studio (harlequin floor, no long mirrors).

Meeting Rooms
A variety of size rooms are available for hire
The hire fee is negotiable with flexible rates for companies and individual artists. If the studio is booked for a block period, for example a week or more continuously, then reductions may be available. Bookings are possible between 8.30am - 9pm daily, including weekends.
