Posted by bbo on 18 January, 2012 15:18

It is essential for any dance teacher to understand theoretically, and implement practically, the factors involved with teaching dance in a safe environment.

The Safe and Effective Dance Practice course covers everything from anatomy and physiology to the relevant legal requirements currently associated with teaching dance safely and effectively.

Accredited by Trinity College London, the Certificate in Safe and Effective Dance Practice is recommended for all teachers, trainee teachers and those considering gaining a teaching qualification.

The cost of the course is £500

Current Level 4 and Level 5 students on the BBO Teaching Qualifications Diploma have the Safe and Effective Dance Practice course included in their fees for their year of study.

Students studying Level 3 of the BBO Teaching Diploma can take SEDP as a stand alone qualification, and then have the cost of it taken off their fees when they progress to Level 5.

To apply for this course, download the application form here and return it, with payment, to HQ no later than Friday 27th January 2012

Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so apply early to avoid disappointment.
